BLUE MOON MARTINI

In a clear glass, a blue sky swirls with damiana, magnolia, butterfly pea, and vanilla elixir, both grounding and effervescent with goddess energy. Nestled within: a frozen coconut sphere representing the full blue moon.

As it melts, the flavor evolves, transforming the drink as if by magic.

Ingredients:
3 cups magnolia petals
1 teaspoon cardamom pods, crushed
A couple slices of fresh ginger root
½ cup dried damiana
½ cup dried butterfly pea flowers
3 vanilla beans, chopped

To make an alcoholic version of the elixir for eight people, add all the ingredients to a 1-quart jar and fill to the top with vodka. Infuse for about a week, shaking every day, then strain. Return liquid to the jar and refrigerate.

To make a nonalcoholic decoction for eight people, add all of the ingredients to a pot and cover with with 2 quarts water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and simmer on low for 8 hours; the liquid should have decreased by half. Add more water if necessary to make 4 cups liquid, then cool to room temperature and strain. Transfer liquid to a jar and refrigerate.

Freeze full-fat coconut milk in round sphere molds.

When ready to serve, add ½ cup of elderflower syrup to the jar(s) (or to taste) and shake to distribute.

Place a frozen coconut sphere in each martini glass, then fill with 2 ounces of either the elixir or the decoction. Sip slowly and enjoy the changes!

Inspired by the rare beauty of a blue moon, this Blue Moon Martini blends botanical magic with celestial symbolism. Featuring butterfly pea flower, magnolia, damiana, vanilla, and a melting coconut moon, this evolving lunar cocktail transforms with every sip, perfect for full moon rituals, enchanted gatherings, and magical entertaining.
