Hello! We hope you had a gorgeous holiday and an enchanted beginning to 2020!

We are back at work here at your favorite magazine and can’t wait to share our spring Pre-Raphaelite issue with you — a very colorful, lush, swoony issue to follow our dark and candlelit hygge one! The issue will be out in March but we wanted to share one sneak peek of the one and only Emilie Autumn, whom we’ll feature in an epic Pre-Raphaelite shoot along with her close friend and our resident love witch Veronica Varlow (who makes a great Jane Burden next to Emilie’s Lizzie Siddal, two ladies you’ll read much more about)!

You can subscribe starting with the spring issue here: https://enchantedlivingmag.com/collections/subscribe
Or pre-order the single issue here: https://enchantedlivingmag.com/products/enchanted-living-issue-50-spring-2020-print

Here is Emilie recreating a Dante Rossetti painting in this image from Steve Parke. This was shot at the Cloisters Castle in Baltimore, Maryland, and all hair and makeup was done by Nikki Verdecchia of Baltimore’s NV Salon Collective.

And the original 1872 painting, Veronica Veronese:

We have so much more to share from this shoot, and many more wondrous things to tell you about this issue. Just think gowns and flowing locks and pomegranates and blossoming flowers and lyres and kickass 19th century (and contemporary!) ladies.
